Shopping Day

We went to the stores today.  I had to stay in the car at the grocery store.  I grabbed at Mom with my monkey-hands as she left and protested when Dad tried to hug me, but to no avail. They weren’t allowing me into the store. Hmmph!

Next stop was the feed store.  This is more my style.  I went in and strutted around like I owned the place.  The girl clerk gave me two treats (This seemed to be one to many in Mom’s opinion, and I was only allowed to eat one.). The nice lady ooohhhed and aaahhhed appropriately and asked me to come back real soon.  You bet I will!  Even sooner if I can learn how to drive the car.

Last stop, McDonalds, was a bit of a disappointment.  The lady at the window was a lovely woman.  “Isn’t he cute?”, and “Oh, you have three of them!”   She generously gave us all a bag of cookies.  I mean, one each!!  As we drove away, Mom smiled and said, “These cookies are terrible treats for little dogs.”

I haven’t seen them since.  I have a sneaking suspicion she enjoyed our cookies for dessert.  She isn’t saying, but she looks awfully satisfied.

Got a news flash for you Mom, those cookies are terrible treats for peeps, too.

About onecoolgriff

Hello to all my friends! My name is Rambo and I'm a Petite Brussels Griffon living in Michigan. My family is a bit diverse, and we love all the exciting things that can happen when you live in a small zoo. Included in my family are five dogs (two more Griffs, although Pearlie Blue is really a Pug-Griff I think, and Jemmie the diva; Atticus the Rottweiler aka Atticus the Bratticus, and Buddy the incredibly-old-but-still-getting-around whatever kind of dog), two cats that the peeps call Barn Cats, making them a bit more mysterious than a "regular" cat; three VERY BIG horses, and of course my two peeps, Mom an Dad. I love being a little Griff in a big world. Everyday is an adventure and my job is to find the usual things and make them unusual. Never a problem! I'll be sure to let you know whenever I find something new and exciting.
