Svelte (sfelt) adj.- whatEVER

The new and improved, svelte Pearle.Mom used the word “svelte” in a conversation about Pearle.  I guess because she’s lost two pounds on the celebrity acclaimed “Green Bean Diet”.

Using this word made everyone laugh so hard that, opposable thumbs or not, I had to look it up in the Websters.  The information I got was thin (Unlike Pearle, hehehe. That was a “play on words” for those of you who need tellin’.)

svelte (sfelt) adj.  Slender, willowy.

Pearle? My Pearle, the pug-like-griff, svelte, slender, willowy??

Now, I am not the catty type (Ha! I’m killin’ myself here!), but you can see from the photo that my girl Pearle has pulled the donuts on the dog couch together and made one bed, just big enough for…  you guessed it- Pearle!  And these are not small donuts, mind you.  Gemmie and I can share one easily.  No sharing for that other dog, though.  Hmmph!

But, I forgive you Pearle.  It may be your fault that you don’t share or play well with others, but the weight thing, well, we’ll blame Joe the master snacker.  He just could not resist you when you were at your absolute cutest while begging.  Look at those eyes-

Some day you may truly be svelte- but you really do always look good to me.  I love you, Pearlie Blue!  XXXOOO

About onecoolgriff

Hello to all my friends! My name is Rambo and I'm a Petite Brussels Griffon living in Michigan. My family is a bit diverse, and we love all the exciting things that can happen when you live in a small zoo. Included in my family are five dogs (two more Griffs, although Pearlie Blue is really a Pug-Griff I think, and Jemmie the diva; Atticus the Rottweiler aka Atticus the Bratticus, and Buddy the incredibly-old-but-still-getting-around whatever kind of dog), two cats that the peeps call Barn Cats, making them a bit more mysterious than a "regular" cat; three VERY BIG horses, and of course my two peeps, Mom an Dad. I love being a little Griff in a big world. Everyday is an adventure and my job is to find the usual things and make them unusual. Never a problem! I'll be sure to let you know whenever I find something new and exciting.
